Information we collect

We collect only what we need to quote and ship your vehicle:

  • Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
  • Shipment details: pickup and delivery locations, pickup timing, and your vehicle’s year, make, model, whether it runs and the transport type you choose.
  • Messages you send us through the contact form, by email, by text or by phone, including any order number.
  • Basic technical data your browser sends when you visit, such as device type, pages viewed and approximate location from your IP address.

How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Prepare and email your quote, and call or text you to confirm dates and details.
  • Book your shipment, assign a carrier and send you updates from pickup to delivery.
  • Answer your questions and handle claims or complaints.
  • Keep the site working, secure and easy to use.
  • Meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a licensed broker.

Who we share it with

To move your vehicle, we share your shipment details and the contact details the carrier needs with Ocean Blue Auto Transport and Ocean Blue Logistics Inc., who assign and dispatch the carrier, and with the carrier who hauls your vehicle.

We may also share information with service providers who help us run our business (for example email, phone and hosting providers) under agreements that limit their use of it, and with authorities when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.

Calls, texts and emails

When you submit a quote request, you agree that we may contact you about it by phone, text and email, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or follow the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We will still send messages you need about an active shipment unless you ask us not to. See our SMS terms for details.

Cookies

The site uses only the storage it needs to work. If we add analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and shipment records for as long as we need them to serve you, handle claims and meet record-keeping rules for brokers, then delete or anonymize them.

Security

We protect your information with reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us right away if you think your information has been misused.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it or delete it. Depending on the state you live in, you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of certain sharing. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
